The Lancaster Rialto has always been a place to meet our friends and where people frequented once a week after they shopped and dined to see a show. The Theatre Marquee lit up Main Street while locals walked the center of downtown. Dave and I realize you and your family have alternative movie viewing options and for this reason we are working hard to provide you a great show and another good reason to get “out of the house” and enjoy Main Street Lancaster and the big screen.

We believe there is no better way to watch a movie, than to watch it in a theater with people who are laughing when you laugh and crying when you cry. We want our little theater to spark your spirit and inspire you to be with other people enjoying the warmth of our historic theater and the friendly local businesses of Lancaster. It has been said, “That the key to a long life is meeting at least 5 people a day”; Let that be at The Rialto.

We’re not going to be a large multi screen theater but we can stake a place in the North Country by providing recent run movies and unique viewing alternatives by bringing back classics, vintage films and nontraditional entertainment.

Our goal is to provide our loyal customers with new entertainment every week, covering a vast array of genres. With the ability to provide more than fifty films per year, the Rialto will be able to offer more choices for the North Country. And, as always, we will focus on providing you a safe, high quality, and friendly place to enjoy your movie and entertainment experience.

Last but not least, our Grand Reopening could not have happened if it wasn’t for the help of some very hard working “Friends of the Rialto”, from Technical/computer help, volunteer labor, local bank support, popcorn tasting and the many others that have showed their support of the Rialto. Thank you all,

      Now let’s enjoy the show!

Four Films in Four Days

Opening Thursday
